Who we are

Finnovia Consultants is an accounting and finance automation practice based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. For questions about this policy or about data we hold, contact finnoviaconsultants@outlook.com.

What this website collects

This site is static and has no database, no analytics tracking, no advertising pixels and no third party cookies. We do not set cookies. The assistant in the corner runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type into it is transmitted or stored anywhere. The cost calculator works the same way. To show prices in the right currency first, the site reads your browser’s time zone setting. That check happens in your browser, nothing is sent to us, and the currency you choose is remembered only until you close the tab.

The contact form does not submit to a server. It opens your own email client with the details filled in, so nothing reaches us until you choose to press send. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server request logs including IP address for security and reliability purposes, as any web host does.

What we collect when you contact us

If you email, message us on WhatsApp or use the form, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, location, the software you use and a description of your situation. We use it to reply and to prepare a proposal. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Client financial data

If you become a client, we access financial records to perform the work. Specifically:

• Access is taken at the minimum permission level the work requires
• Access is through your own software's user permissions, never a shared password
• We do not request or hold online banking credentials or payment authority
• Credentials are stored in an encrypted password manager with multi factor authentication
• Your ledger stays in your platform; we do not maintain a parallel copy

Who we share it with

We do not sell data and we do not share it for marketing. Data is disclosed only in these circumstances: to a subprocessor strictly necessary to deliver the work, such as your own accounting platform or an encrypted document exchange service; to a licensed tax practitioner where you have asked us to coordinate a filing; or where we are legally required to disclose it. Where an accounting firm engages us on behalf of their client, we take instructions from that firm and not from their client.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Working papers for completed engagements are retained for the period required by professional and tax record keeping obligations in the relevant jurisdiction, then deleted. Credentials are deleted at the end of the engagement, not retained against future work.

Deletion and your rights

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Write to finnoviaconsultants@outlook.com and we will respond within thirty days. Where a record must be retained to meet a legal or professional obligation we will tell you which one, rather than refusing without explanation.

If you are in the UK, the EU or another jurisdiction with statutory data rights, those rights apply and we will honour them regardless of where we are based.

Security

Encrypted credential storage, multi factor authentication, encrypted devices, least privilege access and removal of access when an engagement ends. We hold no formal security certification and do not claim one. The controls we do apply are listed in full on the security page.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Current version: August 2026.
